We will meet in the Black Box Theatre at the Arts Council facility. All Covid-19 restrictions will apply and therefore we have a maximum of 60 spaces available! Please submit your registration and plan for your substitutes today! Please check with your Administrators, your Board of Education, and your school PTO, any of which may be able to cover your substitute for the day!
This will be a casual day with light refreshments offered and lunch on your own. Our schedule is developing and will include these highlights:

- UAB Drawing and Painting Professor Gary Chapman – “Expressive Charcoal Mark-Making”
- A Tour of the Beautiful Shelby County Arts Council Facility
- Elementary and Secondary Level Lesson Demonstrations
- Kim Kirklin, Director, and Helene Taylor, Visual Artist, Of the UAB Institute for Arts In Medicine
- A Look at the 2021 Alabama High School Juried Art Exhibit
- In the EBSCO Fine Art Gallery
- Breakout Discussions/Commiseration on Teaching in the Age of Covid-19
- Lesson Swap and Your Best “Art Hacks” Shared
